East St. Paul Medical Center founder Dr. Amanda Patenaude is Board Certified as an Internal Medicine Specialist with a fellowship in Rheumatology (Autoimmune & Autoimmune Skin Diseases). She graduated from Internal Medicine from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA. She then went on to pursue a fellowship in Rheumatology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, LA. She completed this specialty at the University of Manitoba. Her Clinical Dermatology training was completed at The University of South Wales, and this training allows her to deal with complex autoimmune skin diseases to provide her patients with the best outcomes possible.

She is Board Certificated in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Medicine, the first physician to hold this designation in Manitoba. She is also certified in Phlebectomies and Sclerosing for varicose vein treatment. Providing the latest minimally invasive treatments for skin diseases including cosmetic removals of benign lesions with the most up to date surgical techniques.

As an Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Patenaude is an expert in treating and preventing diseases of the internal organs which can manifest and affect the skin, hair, and nails. This expertise provides Dr. Patenaude with a unique perspective in treating common skin concerns such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, and more complex diseases such as subacute cutaneous lupus erythematosus. She is proud to bring these specialties to her medical practice in Manitoba.

Dr. Emily Saganski graduated from the University of Manitoba where she obtained a Doctor of Medicine Degree through the Max Rady College of Medicine. She pursued a unique family physician training program that brought her to Northern Manitoba and Nunavut. This allowed her to care for a diverse population of patients with complex medical issues. It is her goal to bring this skillset & provide complete medical care to the community.
